London Fashion Week might be small, but it sure is mighty!! There were amazing collections shown in the city that gave birth to both the English Rose and the punk rock goddess. Check out my favorite looks below!
Erdem: I want this dress. Everything about it is so beautiful and brings together two opposites: edge and femininity. The silhouette is very prim and proper but when you really look at the dress, you see the subtle elements of edge with the leather and the cut-outs. Gorgeous dress!
Pringle of Scotland: This is the perfect fall Sunday casual outfit. It looks comfortable, but it’s also exquisitely chic in a subtle and under-the-radar kind of way.
Matthew Williamson: This look makes me think of that always cool girl who jet sets around the world and never seems to get jet lag and always looks fashionable and fresh. I imagine this is what she wears to dinner in the South of France on her trip across Europe.
Sass & Bide: This look is the epitome of rocker chic. The leather, the crop top, and the tight pants all come together to create a look that any badass girl would love to rock on a night out on the town.
Topshop Unique: Coats are a serious obsession for me and I am digging this coat with fur trim. It’s super elegant and looks so cozy. I’d like to add this little number to my collection of outerwear.
Burberry Prorsum: This season is very boho and 70’s and my inner hippie child is loving it. I particularly love Burberry’s interpretation of this fall/winter trend and specifically this look of the easygoing peasant dress with a cute vest and some fringe booties. Perfect!
Temperley London: The definition of effortless glam. This look is just gorgeous. I particularly love the subtle print mixed in with beautiful white and beige tones. I also love the vest, because it adds a touch ease to the outfit.
Issa: This look is my inspiration for New Year’s Eve next year. Not only do the cut outs and the neckline scream party!! But the fringe is just so fun, it makes me want to twirl around and around. I hope I can find something as fun and sassy as this for New Year’s Eve next year!!
Emilia Wickstead: I love a good jumpsuit, if it’s done right. And, this most certainly is done right. From the neckline, and the structure and tailoring to the gorgeous periwinkle blue, everything about this look is amazing. Love it!
Marchesa Notte: I am truly, truly obsessed with Marchesa and Marchesa Notte. There hasn’t been a collection that Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig that I haven’t fawned all over. And, this collection is no different. I particularly love this dress because it reminds me of the bygone era of the 60’s where women nailed the soft and feminine look that is alluring. Just gorgeous!
Peter Pilotto: Something I really love about the fall/winter collections this year is that they don’t stick to the normal rules of winter fashion, one of which is you don’t wear white after Labor Day. Well this look completely flouts that rule and I love it. From the high-waisted pencil skirt to the intricate lace and details of the top. Gorgeous look!!
Christopher Kane: This is the perfect dress to wear in the wintertime because to me winter is the time for modest silhouettes to keep you warm against the cold weather and for sparkle and shine because there’s magic in the air during the holidays!
Julien McDonald: I chose this look because I love pieces that are unique and make a person stand out amongst the crowd. This dress definitely fulfills that criteria because of just how gorgeous and sexy it is. Quite the head-turner!
Osman: Amongst all the fresh silhouettes and new trends of any season, you also need your timeless staples. This is one of those. A gorgeous, simple dress that will stand the test of time. I also really love the red color because it’s a subtle orangey-red that isn’t in your face. Beautiful!
Tom Ford: Technically, Tom Ford didn’t show in London and showed in Los Angeles instead, but I decided to include him here because it was during LFW and because his collection was one of my faves for sure. I particularly love this look because even though there seems to be so many different elements, fur, knit, patent leather, it all comes together seamlessly to create a streamlined, elegant fall/winter look. This is what I wanna look like when I grow up.
