A couple months back, I woke up, got out of bed, and promptly stepped on my glasses and broke them. This is the worst thing that can happen to someone who wears glasses and contacts. So, I began perusing glasses options.
I want glasses that are chic and fashionable but are also classic and timeless and don’t cost me a lot of money. After all, I’m wearing contacts more than I wear glasses, but when I wear glasses I want them to look good!
This is where Warby Parker comes in! For years, Warby Parker has been the fashionable girl’s go-to for glasses. They offer some of the most chic and fashionable styles that would make anyone stop and tell you that they not only love your shoes, handbag, or dress but also your gorgeous glasses!
Warby Parker is launching its Fall Collection today and it seems like the perfect time for me to get a pair of glasses to replace the broken ones.
If any of you dear readers will be in Orange County this weekend, I know of an amazing event you should attend! Simon Malls and Refinery29 are partnering to present Style Festival, a fun and fashionable event inspired by the music festival season. Because, as we all know, a music festival is the perfect opportunity to sport some amazing and trendy pieces.
The event is taking place this Saturday at Brea Mall from noon to 5pm. The event is featuring different booths and stages that are all inspired by music festivals. There will be a “Style Stage” featuring different brands’ take on current summer trends. Retailers and brands that will be featured range from Banana Republic and H&M to Whimsy and Row and Blossom Vintage. This stage is fully shoppable so you will have the opportunity to purchase some cute, on-trend pieces right there!

Ahh, Milano. The home of luxurious fashion. When I think of Milan Fashion Week, I think of sexy silhouettes in deep, rich colors and decadent fabrics. And, this fashion week definitely did not disappoint. The runways were full of clothing that evoke the power, sensuality, and confidence that seems to embody every quintessential Italian woman. See my favorite collections below.
I love the couture shows in Paris, because to me couture is the heart of fashion: fantasy and dreams.
Couture is about the beautiful custom, handmade pieces that I dream about wearing if I were a Disney princess searching for my prince, a secret spy fighting the bad guys, or being a high-powered executive dominating the business world. Here are my favorites from the couture shows last week .
