I have a confession: I love shoes. Like, a lot. I am willing to spend more money on shoes than on anything else. And, I think it’s because no matter what type of outfit I’m wearing, the shoes always complete it. At the moment, I’m obsessed with espadrilles. They’re the perfect shoe for summertime, especially summer trips when you’re walking around all day and need comfortable, yet stylish shoes.
As I was browsing some spring sales this past weekend, I came across the perfect pair in the Barneys Warehouse sale, at a steal of a price!! These gorgeous Aquazurra Belgravia Espadrilles are now mine and I couldn’t be more excited!! Now, knowing that I have a 3 week Europe trip around the corner, I may have started looking up some other espadrilles for the trip, because a girl always needs options for different outfits, right? Take a look below at the ones I’m currently coveting, including the new addition to my wardrobe.

It’s been a month since spring has sprung, but this past weekend in So Cal, with temps rising to the 80s, it felt more like Summer. Now, I know the old adage is that you can’t wear white until Memorial Day. But, I have my own rule: if it feels like it’s June outside, then wear your whites, and wear them proudly.
For Sunday brunch, I went with this super cute white ribbed dress from Tobi.com. It was perfect because it kept me cool while out in the heat. I decided to keep going with the white theme and paired it with my white Chloe Mini Marcie, some beige snakeskin Steve Madden gladiators, and my House of Harlow sunburst necklace.
And while the weather may all of a sudden cool down this week, which it’s prone to do, I love that I was able to get a taste of summer, which is just around the corner!

I have loved the gladiator sandal since I bought my first pair back in 2010 at a Zara in Italy. And, though the style has come and gone, I have worn my several pairs of gladiators nonstop since then. Recently, for Spring/Summer 2015, the style has resurfaced, much to my delight! And, with it has come gladiators in all styles: from knee-high, structured and flat sandal to ankle-high, dainty and pump – there is a style for every taste and every occasion!

Maybe it’s because it’s springtime and the weather is warming up, allowing for more fun and light pieces or maybe it’s because we are in the midst of festival season, but I am loving fringe right now. It an evokes a kind of flirty look with a touch of vintage flair. Whether it’s full on fringe that make you want to swish left and right or a subtle fringe that gives your look a little bohemian edge, fringe is the perfect trend to breathe some fresh air into your spring wardrobe!

The other day I was scrolling Instagram as I usually do and I came across this Instagram from Lauren Conrad‘s website featuring super cute, blush LC Lauren Conrad scalloped ballet flats.
Now, because I was scrolling rather quickly, the first thought that went through my mind was “Look! It’s my Chloé flats!” I was, of course, referring to Chloé‘s latest rendition of their ultra comfortable flats: the Lauren ballerina flat.
But, on closer inspection, I realized that the image was actually posted by Conrad’s website – a website I love, it has a lot of great posts about fashion and health — and featured a pair of flats that are part of the reality starlet’s clothing line with Kohl’s. I could not believe the similarity between the Chloé version and the LC Lauren Conrad version. They are nearly identical. To be fair, both flats are fairly simple and the only design element that they share is the scalloped design.
Ever since I saw the Aquazzura lace-up flats, I have been coveting lace-up shoes, ranging from those gorgeous flats, to fun gladiator sandals, to sexy lace-up heels. I think that the lace-up element in each style makes each shoe a little fun and flirty!! So, I’m saving my pennies for one of these delectable pieces below!!1. Silence + Noise ‘Sofia’ Heel || 2.
