Being in my late 20s, I’m at that age. The age where every year, a good number of my Saturdays are spent watching two people declare their love for each other in front of their family and friends. That’s right, I’m talking about wedding season!!
Last year, I was invited to 6 weddings. This year, I have been invited to 7 weddings. So you could say that I’m a bit of a pro. Last night was the start of my wedding season with a gorgeous reception at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel. This wedding was a bit more relaxed and intimate so I decided to dust off an old favorite of mine, my LBD from Halston Heritage.
I love this dress because even though it seems so simple, the details of the sheer rose appliques at the bottom and the high neckline give it just enough pizazz to make it interesting with still keeping the elegance of a simple little black dress.
I had a blast last night and I can’t wait for the weddings to come. Stay tuned to see what I wear to those!

It’s Monday morning and I’m sitting at my desk at work sad that the weekend is over. But, I’m so happy that I got to bust out my brand new Chanel. Because who doesn’t need a little Chanel in their life?
For dinner with friends this weekend, I decided to stick with the them of Black & White with my gorgeous new Chanel bag and team it with an all black outfit with a subtle touch of white. And, I found the perfect top from Tobi. This super cute high neck tank with white stripes down the side. It was like this top and this purse were meant to be.
To break up the complete black and white, I paired the outfit with my new favorite Stuart Weitzman grey Hijinx Sandals and a bold berry lip from Kat Von D.
I got lots of compliments on my outfit and lots of oohs and aahhs over my new Chanel. As is to be expected. I mean, come on, it’s Chanel.

I remember when I was a teenager, I was playing around in my mother’s closet and saw some bodysuits that she kept from the early ’90s. I proceeded to make fun of her and laugh about how she still had something in her closet that was so outdated. She just smiled a knowing smile that I didn’t understand at the time, but now I do.
Because, I am now obsessed with bodysuits. And, I know realize that my mother’s knowing smile was that one day the bodysuits that I made fun of would come back around in the fashion cycle. Like this amazing ribbed lace up bodysuit from Tobi. It was perfect for this spring afternoon outfit paired with some high-waisted jeans (another 90’s fashion revival), one of my favorite jackets from Zara and some cute booties. Love it!

It’s been a month since spring has sprung, but this past weekend in So Cal, with temps rising to the 80s, it felt more like Summer. Now, I know the old adage is that you can’t wear white until Memorial Day. But, I have my own rule: if it feels like it’s June outside, then wear your whites, and wear them proudly.
For Sunday brunch, I went with this super cute white ribbed dress from Tobi.com. It was perfect because it kept me cool while out in the heat. I decided to keep going with the white theme and paired it with my white Chloe Mini Marcie, some beige snakeskin Steve Madden gladiators, and my House of Harlow sunburst necklace.
And while the weather may all of a sudden cool down this week, which it’s prone to do, I love that I was able to get a taste of summer, which is just around the corner!
